Obey, by far one of my favorite labels and most recognizably known for its Obey Giant movement and the infamous Barack Obama propaganda artwork, has also distinguished itself as a well respected clothing line frequently worn by urbanites around the world. Started by street artist, Shepard Fairey in 1989, Obey has completely dwarfed the industry standard in regards to artistic creativity, quality, style and message. Obey has become a cultural icon in cities worldwide and continues to grow unparalleled in popularity by the young and old.
